  • rf600 fender

got to thinking today.. the rf600 has the same diameter forks and same offset and essentially same rotors, and same tire size as katana my thought was to use a rf600 fender with the rf bracket on a kat. just for shear looks. imo looks better than the one factory on my 01. any one know if its a nice bolt up? heres one with the bracket i found on ebay just for some reference

no body? anybody have info on wheel widths or triple tree comparisons. if the forks on rf are same width as kats it should work. guess ill be a guinea pig.

well it fits.. pretty easy install.

the only modification was grinding the holes to mount to forks a little longer to fit other than that bolt on.

          I think it looks good.
Can't blame me for something I don't remember.

I like it, it looks roughly like the same curvature of a bandit fender.

I purchased a carbon fiber bandit fender and had to do the same thing with the mounting holes and it fit perfectly.

Should have put some before and after pictures side by side. Wonder if it'll fit on a pre98?

it's the same fitments pre and post, if you can fit it on a post, you can do the same thing on a pre. BraadaJim has a post fender on his pre.

sadly you'll have to wait awhile for that, whole bike is being repainted along with a lot of other work. going slow
