Hey, I was wondering what an '88 Katana 1100 is worth these days. I just got new seals, carbs cleaned, new spark plugs, and an oil change. Overall I'd say the bike is in about 6/10 condition due to the previous owner's crappy paint job, a few screws missing from the plastics, and previous owner dropped it once cracking the left side front turn signal. The windshield is in great shape and functions perfectly. It also has a Vance & Hines pipe.
I'm planning on selling it as soon as I can, but am not sure what I should be asking for it. I have been advised to hold onto it till next year so that it will be 20 years old which will also give me time to spruce it up a bit. What do ya'll think a Kat in that condition is worth? |

Know that mods often do not increase value , and often actually DECREASE it . |
