What should the float level be in the carbs???? Or will this depend on mods...... My bro just got a jet kit and in the tuning process it says if from idle to 2000 RPMS @ full throttle you have a dead spot..... the floats need adjustment. This is what my bike does and I know that the Clymer manual I have has a spec. But I wanted to know if the jet kit is going to change this spec?
Thanks!!!!

Some jet kits will require you to change it , and I believe they'll tell you so if it's necessary . But hwta can it hurt , if you CAN have it adjusted , maybe you should give it a try . Sounds like your boy knows of which he speaketh .
