    Need some advice..

I was surfing the web and I came across a pre-fab. wiring hareness for connecting a fan.

Has anyone used this before, or does anyone see any issues with this hareness.

Also, what is the best spot to pull power for a fan?

    fan for what?
The bikes not water cooled... its air cooled.
It has an oil cooler to help control oil temps not engine temps, its not oil cooled and the oil does not displace heat like coolant does in a water jacket. A fan is a waist of time and will restrict airflow unless its running all the time... draining the battery
if you want a cooler running engine, jet it richer, run cooler plugs and use a higher octane then needed.

      hmmm..thanks for the response...

I was thinking the oil cooler kept the oil and thus the engine cool and thus I thought running a fan over it when stopped would make some sort of difference..clearly I was wrong..

      well nm then...

No the oil cooler just helps maintain oil temps. it does squat for the engine cyl and cyl head temps.
