I was out on a ride with the Mrs once when we got a summer pop-up T-storm. Crazy strong, we ended up riding for about 10 min then stopping at a local pub about 5 min from home. It just got too bad to take. Long story short, I had to go back the next day to pick up the bike, but it was a fun night. There is no moral to this story, other than drinking can result from just about any situation.

last summer here in michigan I rode my bike for all but three days 120 miles per day...thats eatin some rain..I usually pull of if I am caught right at the start of it till the crud washes off the road then I suit up and take off..every spring I dissasemble the body and dielectric the bike at every connector just so I can ride in the rain..love the looks I get from the cagers that know I am obviously insane.. +1 on good tires and sealed connections.
