  • Suspension Fluid & You

Some of you have changed out your suspension fluid to a heavier or lighter weight fluid or so you thought to change the damping of your suspension.

The problem that comes into play here is manufacturers are not playing by any set of rules so it seems, Ones 5wt will be some others 15wt. So when shopping for suspension fluid to either refresh or change the damping characteristics you need to find the viscosity that will fall inline with what you want out of your suspension.

Here is a image the shows a good size list of fluids that are on the market and what the true viscosity's are. I did not compile this information and all the credit goes to Peter Verdone for testing the fluids that are on this list.

I want to mention that Racetech fluids are no longer made by Motorex so that data may not be accurate.

Do you have this in text format? It would be great to be able to put them in order based on brand or other data...
