  • need help 98+ vacuum lines+ fuel line

    Need help on where the vacuum lines connect on a 2004 gsx600f .
    1. Theres one port that comes out of the air box. where does it connect
    2. theres about 3 lines on carbeurator . where do they connect ?

    Any help is appreciated

    unless you have a california model or something odd, theres only two things on my 2001 750 that would be considered a "vacuum line".

    the large port on top goes to the crankcase ventilation tube on the valve cover.

    the other goes from Carb 4 on the far right of the bike, to the petcock(fuel feed valve) on the gas tank.

    the 2 hoses that go over the top of the airbox are vent hoses for the carbs(they just clip into the holders on the airbox)

    there's a drain hose on the left bottom of the airbox that runs to the right side of the bike, this should be present and PLUGGED, not OPEN.

    Theres a drain hose that runs from the bottom of the gas tank to the right side of the bike, this handles any fuel cap ring overflow, or drainage.

    the vacuum ports on carbs 1-3 should be CAPPED.

    thats it.
