Ok I'm doing it for sure. Just got that set from eBay. Thanks thazkat... What rear shock would u suggest? I'm gonna start gathering and get it all together.

I used a Hayabusa rear shock on mine and mreedohio's bikes. If you go that route, you will have to either make or buy lowering links, the busa shock is longer than the katana. I have seen the R1 shock, GSXR shock and I believe a kawi shock used on them.

Im guessing you use the katanas handlebar plus accessories correct?

Yes you can use the katana bars but they have to be knotched for the busa handlebar mount. I believe there is a difference of a 1/2 inch. This will not mess with the integrity of the bar if you do it properly.

wow 400 not bad ! I thought I did pretty good on ebay got the forks for under 100 off an 05 with 27000 miles. the only thing that killed me was the fancy rotors i bought 165$. overall i spent 460 not including break lines.
