New Kat Rider
Found this forum searching for info on my "new to me" 1996 Kat 750. I've been riding motorcycles since I was a kid, but this is my first sport bike. I have owned cruisers, dirt bikes and quads. I currently have a Kaw Vulcan 1500 Classic also.
I bought the Kat to take to the local 1/8 mile drag strip and am looking for info on what I can expect from this bike. Its a stock set-up and since this is my first year on the track I think I will keep it that way for a while. I did see there is a section for racing, so I'll taker a look over there too. I'm looking forward to learning about the bike and getting some miles and passes on it. |

Welcome to KR. Some great people here. I'm kinda interested in raceing my bike as well. I'm not in the states yet and once I get there I'll need to buy another bike but I do plan to visit the local strip a fair bit.
I lived in South Carlolina in 04-06 and I went to the Darlington Dragway once or twice with some friends. I didn't have a bike then but I would love to go back with a bike.
