  • Akira Fans?

So I'm not sure that I am writing this in the right section, but I found this interesting. I am a fan of the Akira anima and while looking for new schemes for the bike I found this.

Apparently it will be a live action move produced by the same men who did "Book of Elie"

Yeah I am a fan of only a couple. Cowboy Bebop, Vampire Hunter D, and Initial D being on my list also. However the concept of the bike in Akira is what always made me like it. I think that they did a good job on it.

Here is the bike pics I found:

yea im a big time anime watcher! Akira is a very good original anime movie that paved the way. I just ordered the new neon genesis movies.

My Shiba is named Akira, but I have never been into much anime That bike concept is neat, but where do you rest your feet? I dont see floorboards or pegs. Seems to me that your abs would have a damn good workout by the end of the day.

I know, I know, it's a concept taken from anime (or is it anima, I can never keep track of the differences).

IIRC legs are stretched out and your feet are angled upwards. In the picture, see where the fairing curves in at the front, and there's an angled surface to put your feet on.

Someone collected much of the motorcycle scenes from Akira and put them into one video:
