hey watsup guys, this is my first post, nice to have found this site

anyways.. i dont know if its supposed to be like this, but i just bought my first bike last week (98 katana 750) and i noticed if you pin the throttle the rpms just jump up until the bike catches up to it.. is it supposed to be like that stock? and if it is how would i go about getting instant engagement so that when i pin the throttle it sends direct power to the wheel instead of slipping.

    Yeah , it shouldn't do that .
Serach for the how-to on adjusting the clutch and try that FIRST .
