New Guy, Old Guy
Looking forward to discussions in this community. Started riding in 1965 on a Yammy 50cc mostly on dirt/sandy country roads. Stayed on small bikes until 1971, last one being a Honda 175 modded with an "easy rider" extended front fork..gutless bike, but looked cool. Took a 40 plus year hiatus until about 2 years ago when my son bought a used Honda 250 Rebel and I couldn,t resist getting back in the saddle. I.m in the process of going through the engine and tranny to resolve some minor issues with some major labor... but that,s what old guys do during hot muggy summers in FL when it.s miserable riding in either torrential rain showers or blistering heat. Will periodically be trying to pick the brains of Anybody who has experience with turning wrenches on the older Katanas.
