  • cleaning seat on post kats?

Anyone got some recommendations on how to clean the front portion of a post-98 Katana seat? I'm worried about snagging and tearing up the textured part of the seat if I scrub too much. Is there a cleaner that will break up the crud without hurting the seat (or the plastics if I clean it while still on the bike)?

It seems like kind of a dumb question now that I've got it typed out but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask. I'd hate to ruin my seat and I'm sure folks here have the experience to help me out.

    thanks!

Try a product like Tuff Stuff that's foamy. It does a good job at cleaning deep into texture and tight areas, but is safe on virtually everything. I use dry foams on headliners and delicate materials every day with no issue.
If it aint broke fix it till it is

whatever you try i would only experiment on a small indescreet area of the seat ( if there is one?). if it doesnt discolor and seems to clean... soap it up
