  • LED Indicator Lights

Has anyone devised a good way to mount a panel for indicator lights? I'm going sans gauges except for the bicycle speedo and want to put on an oil pressure light at a minumum, maybe add for turn sigs and neutral/high beam.

I am thinking of tapping into the wires on the wirng harness behind the instrument cluster plug to power the LED's. Mounting seems to be my challenge on a naked Kat 600.

    Thanks for the ideas!

That's basically what I did, I have a guage surround I made from a steel plate, cut and welded brackets on, then drilled a few holes for LEDs and noted what wires go to what and tapped them properly from the connector, just be sure to a gle them slightly so they don't point directly at you, they can be bright and halo on your visor, kinda distracting
