quick question from a newbie.i just bought a 1990 750 kat,i rode it about 75 miles home with it stalling everytime i stopped, long story short,i found that the petcock was in the prime position.i turned it to the on position and all is well.my only worry is that fuel may have gotten in the oil,do any of you more knowledgeable kat owners suggest an oil change before i go any further?

Yes . And you probably have some carb issues that need addressed . Your floats SHOULD shut off fuel flow once the bowls fill . If they DON'T , there's a problem .
I am a fluffy lil cuddly lovable bunny , dammit !

Thanks for the advice. I'll check the carbs out after I get the oil and filter changed.

Fix the carbs first. That way they can't contaminate the new oil.
