    rattle can paint

    Hi;
    VERY nice job.
    Could you tell me what kind of paint you used?

    I have not been able to find any locally that can stand up to gasoline.

    I painted the tank on an old Yamaha Maxim with Krylon.
    One hot day after a fill up I got a spritz of fuel out of the tank key hole.
    It washed all the paint off down to the primer.

    Now I want to clean up my 91 Kat 750.
    But I don't know what brand/type of paint to use.

    Thanks
    Mick M,

          That looks awesome. I think I'm going to try that? My plastics need to be replaced anyway so why not spray paint them? I didnt read all the replys but I hope your keeping it covered because it may fade?

                    Wow I really like the the paint sceam. Mines in primer right now so I might have to adjust it. Mine was going to have the belly pan matt black and the rest Honda T/m racing blue (a car color) which is quite a bit lighter then yours. I might have to do the top in a silver or gun metal gray.
                    Anyway the graphic lay out on yours is great. simple and not to over the
                    top.
