  • noob question

    Hi all,
I am very close to pulling the trigger on a Suz-Kat 750 so I've been lurking on forums and checking out reviews etc...
On a couple of threads, I've noticed folks referring to "ditching/getting rid of the shovel"

Is this a reference to the stock windshield?
    Someone please enlighten a noobster.
    Thanks in advance.

It's refering to the mudflap on the back. And don't listen to the masses. I've still got mine and my mom says I'm cool

Do you not find the shovel helps when riding in the rain? Or keeps your saddle bags to those who have them cleaner? Just curious. I am picking up my 06 in April and like the look of no shovel but like the practical side of it to.

any time I've been in the rain on the Bandit I always get soaked, and it's got a shovel.

They're almost as big as mine.

Chop Chop Chop.. and chop some more. Getting rid of the rear fender is a pretty easy mod to do and it looks awesome. As far as the rain, yeah you're going to get wet regardless, because your out in the open anyways
