  • rear tire swap

    Ive picked up an exteded swing arm for my 98 750.it's an inch wider than my stock set up and i thought of putting on a gsxr600 rear rim tho get the wider tire and take up the difference.anyone ever done something like this?are the axles the same diameter? Are the cush drives interchangeable?

      Do you happen to know if a 97-02 gsxr600 uses the same diameter axle as my 98 kat?

        You can check axle sizes by looking up the suzuki parts fiche for a rear wheel and check the size of bearings used. www.ronayers.com for instance has those when ordering parts. Stick with the 20mm axle wheels.

        Example... 1999 gsxr 750 rear wheel uses a B1 32X58X13 BEARING, so the axle size is 32mm diameter. http://www.ronayers.com/Fiche/TypeID...oup/REAR_WHEEL Part #3.

            I'm researched, purchased, and modified just about every variation of suzuki 3 spoke wheel in regards to a Katana.

            I have a wall rack with various rims as well for reference now.
