removal of factory decal??

    I feel your pain, Kat96. I have a 93 and went through all the same suggestions you'll find here. I think they used some industrial glue on the pre98!
    The stickers came off really easy using a small craft heat gun or hair dryer. The thick glue leaft over was no joke. I left goo gone on it for days, and it didn't touch it. The only thing that eventually worked was Goof-Off. I put it on a rag, then set the rag on the glue for a few seconds, then rubbed the glue off with my fingers. It makes fast work of it! I was quick to wash it with soap and water afterward. After all the glue was gone, I washed and waxed the panels. Came out great (check out my pics).
    *Disclaimer: If you leave the Goof-off on the plastic too long, it may cause damage. This is potent stuff, and I wouldn't recommend it for the easy to remove stickers. This was MY solution.
