I want to go all over, Kat. The last time I lived in Calgary, I owned a truck, and spent endless days finding myself totally blown away discovering how bizarre and awesome the people in rural Alberta (re: rural anywhere the country) can be. Hook me up!

the two out B.C. way that stand out are:
basically, if you head west from Calgary on the #1.. you can take the Canyon from about Kelowna/Kamloops down to Hope (I think it's the #2... or the Hope-Princeton)... its got some pretty nice twisties in there, and it only ends up taking about an hour longer to get to Vancouver than it would to take the Coquihalla (but, the Coke is now free.. they took out the toll booths).
When you get to Vancouver, come back up, but take the Sea-To-Sky up to Whistler and on to Lilloet, then east over to Revelstoke and Golden. I haven't taken this way yet, but I'm told that I'm missing out.
(when I've gone out Vancouver way from here, I wasn't going for the scenery, I was going to get there, and fast).
oh! and if you get onto Vancouver Island... anything West of Nanaimo towards Port Alberni/Tofino/Ucluelet is pretty twisty. Anything past Port Alberni, just be aware that lots of cagers die out that way (and bikes have gone flying off the road) 'cause the road leans the wrong way into bends, and there is zero visablity around corners... and lots of tourists who don't know how to play the roads, but try anyway.
If you go north of Campbell River, towards Port Hardy, again, pretty awful road, pretty twisty. From between Port Hardy and Port McNeil, you can take an exit out to Port Alice... that road is nasty in a car. I haven't taken my bike out there yet, but I intend to. Lots of sharp corners (and lots of logging trucks)the kat may be the gixxer's retarded cousin, but she's a hefty broad... and i do loves me some girth between my thighs.

Yeah, if the stickers say "Harley Davidson" it'll really throw off the cruiser crowd!
I think I need some Starkist stickers for the side of mine... (or perhaps Chicken of the Sea?)Last edited by Aaron; 12-16-2008, 10:48 PM.

I've got a lot of AMA stickers. PO works for them.
