I am finding that the shifters from 88-current at all the same part number. I was wondering if anyone had actually figured this out or bought a pre 98' shifter that worked for their 98' -current bike. I am having a difficult time finding a new 98-02 shifter.

I guess I have answered my own question by searching other's threads and other forums. It's not too easy to find out haha. The pre/post 600&750 are interchangeable. I suppose if anyone else has the same questions, it's answered again!
