If it's just cracked... you might be able to heat it up and push the plastic back together. If it's too bad, it will need some filler material.

I have had decent luck using a soldering iron. Filler I would recommend is called Duraglass...then maybe a skim coat of Icing if it pits too much...both available at body shop supply stores...(NAPA has it too)

                      Cracked up

I had a issue with my lower and heres how i fixed it. Go to Home depot and get a piece of fiberglass screen material and a tube of two part epoxy. remove the faring and clean the back of the damaged area real well. I doesn't hurt to ruff up the backside with some sand paper. Mix up a batch of the epoxy and spread a little in the crack then flip it over and tape it in place. Flip it back over and lay a bed of epoxy all around the damaged area then lay the screen material into it. press it into the epoxy real well using an old credit card or a plastic spreader. Apply a generous amount epoxy to cover the screen and at this point you could even put another crossing layer of screening material to build up the repair. Let it dry for 24 hours. Once it's completely dry remove the tape and clean up and residue. Since my issue was on the lower i let it go at that. Cost of the repair about 8 bucks. To refinish the pretty side, sand the area fill and shape it with duraglass (it's about 14 bucks at home depot.FYI make sure the hardener is in the lid) sand it again and prime it sand it prime it again sand it then you should be ready for paint. Duplacolor has a rattle can that shoots nicely. The trick is lost of light coats @ wet sanding. there is a great article on rattle can painting on the forum but the exact location escapes me. The bottom line is this is a repair that you can do no problem.
                      Cheers
                      Eric

I would be wary of using fiberglass to repair ABS plastic... they flex differently and you could end up with your repair just falling off.

I'd try to use a soldering iron, or a heat gun. You have to be really, really, really careful with a torch... because if you burn the plastic it's harder to repair.
