hello guys..hope this post will also help you all in future projects and i do really need some of your advice too,lots of aluminium welding are done,lapping the cover,welding unions on the oil filter cover and drilling 10mm holes,installing it and testing for leaks and i find it okey,i just add some 50ml oil for the oil cooler,i have to go to a hydraulic hose pressing for a new hoses because the original hoses from gsx-r 750 are too long.....runs well.....happy riding...my kat is alive again....more power to katriders

We have less information on the older kats here.
I had an '81 GS1100 with the same motor in it, which had an aftermarket oil cooler added using the oil galley plugs on either side of the filter housing.-Steve
