Well, while waiting around for the Cali Mini-Rally, Slayer was getting restless. Still too much ice and sand/gravel on the local roads for a safe ride. So we took him to see the sights in the PT Cruiser.
Hard to tell from this picture, but that windmill behind Slayer and MrsNITRO is roughly 150 feet tall!
More windmills, and my boys!
Here's me and the little guy next to one of two giant antique rock shovels that flank the entrance road to a cement plant in the middle of all the windfarms.
Slayer and the Mrs at the Tehachapi Loop monument marker. You can see part of the loop in the background. Trains actually go over the top of themselves on the way up this grade!
Now, on the way home, Slayer just couldn't control himself! He saw the twisties, jumped up, and took the wheel from me! Man, can the little guy ever carve a corner!
That's all for now.........Slayer's gonna chill with me until the March 7th ride, where he'll continue his journey with another member.
