  • Painted wheels and a run in the clear

The deed is done, wheels, sprocket carrier and rotors are painted. Darn, clear is tougher to spray than I thought, ended up with a couple of fish eyes and a run (got carried away with the clear/pearl coat). Can I sand the run out and buff? I realize I'm stuck with the fish eye as it's in the base, but I decided to hit it with clear anyway because you won't see it behind the sprocket.
Has been 17 yrs since I last sprayed anything and back then we did everything in single stage, so this was a learning experience and with what I learned today my fairings should be flawless.

Can I unmask as soon as I'm out of dust?

hey there, never posted here before, but im an autobody major, normally you can sand that run out with 1000gt paper, and polish it out....just make sure to wait however long the paint manufacturer says to before sanding
