  • Petcock question

My 90 GSX750F just had the gas tank Kreamed and i need a new petcock -
I plan on replacing it with a non vacuum one 3/8 NPT and a 44mm adapter plate
My question is do I need a 2 outlet petcock or will a single outlet one do?
    Thanks Hyrus

You need two outlets for a pre98.

Note that if the existing petcock is salvagable, I do sell rebuild kits that replace the inside of your petcock with new components. About $25 delivered.

              Cheers,

The Kat carbs do not have overflows in the float bowls. If you happen to accidently leave the new petcock turned on with the bike parked, and one or more of the carbs have a sticky float or bad float valve you will flood the cylinder, airbox, or both with gas. Cylinder full of gas is not a good thing when you first try to restart the bike and can cause massive damage. The vacuum petcock goes a long way twords preventing this kind of accident.
