So, I was searching bike bandit for a cowling mold and noticed they did not have a listing for 98 Katana 600, but they did have the 750 listed. Under the 750, they had 6 different model numbers (K1, K2, K3, W, X, Y). Does this apply to the 600 also? If so, how do I figure out what model mine is? Is there difference in models or is it just what state and country you live? I'm guessing the molding will be the same for all models and years considering it is the same price for all...well, I've only checked 98 and 99. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The letter denotes the year, so in a way it is redundant.
On the 600 1988 is J, 1989, K so on.
Thats why some parts are listed like:
CARBURETOR MODEL L M N P R S T
So that fiche covers 1990 (L) to 96 (T)
I might be off on the letters/years..
but that is the gist. I think it also refers to manufacture date so it might end with 97..
