I had a 2005 FZ6, and I thought the brakes were just fine. Then again, I admit that I've never been a real sportbiker. I sport-tour, and user-friendly bikes are more important to me than bikes with alot of performance.

It was on 06 FZ6, the rear break gripped alot harder then the front brakes. The kat brakes in my opinion were even a bit better then the Fz6's. I just couldn't feel confident and safe on mine no matter what I tried to get used to it. I bought the R6s and could ride that thing forever and feel confident with it.
