will a fender kit designed for a 98-01 Kat work for a 04-05? or are the tails completely different?

The shape is different.Bike is sold -
on the 98 - 2002 the tail were bumble bee, I think it was after 2002 they switched to the busa style tail light. The way the plastics meet in the back are a different (the tail light area). On the 98-02, there is a round hole, on the 02+ there is a lip on top, and the light sits underneath that.Kan-O-Gixxer!
