Got me a new Shoei RF1000 this week. I went from a HJC closeout $80.00 special to this..... It fits super nice and only weighs 3.5 pounds. I can't wait to get a ride in with it to test for wind noise as my other helmet was quite noisy! I got it for $300.00 it was listed at $350.00


I also got a pair of AXO Striker boots...

They are nice and I don't ever have to tie or lace them! Super quick on and off.

make sure you get the chin cover for the helmet. It makes a WORLD of difference, but nice choices!!

It's a plastic table cloth, because my kids spilled Kool Aid on the table before. Now the house is armored in plastic! And yes... I don't like it either, but the wife bought it.
Our kitchen table is the walk in dumping ground for my wife and kids. They come home with their hands full, They just set it down on the table and walk away!

I have the same lid, I was surprised at how silent it is. I think you will be very happy with it.

3.5lbs seems like a lot to me. My Icon helmet is less than that. IDK. Nice helmet though. SHoei makes some great stuff. My uncles helmet is a shoei and hes been wearing it for 7 years now. I told him its time to get a new one. lol
