Bought mine new in June 2005 it "was" a 2005 600cc... and it "had" 75,689 miles on it until August the 27th, now it is totalled. I was planning on riding it until 99,999.....I guess that isn't a plan anymore.

I bought my 88 600 new and have over 207,000km on it. It got parked in '06 when I got a 99 750 that is just turned 44,000km. I rode the 600 across Canada (Ottawa to Victoria) several times (10?) so a lot of highway miles.

Bought my 03' with under 500 (yes, 500) miles on it this summer... It was in the shop for about a month to get the carbs cleaned from sitting so long. She's as good as new now (showroom condition)... I've put 130 miles so far on 2 rides (last weekend)... What a blast to ride.. It purrrrrs....
