1989 suzuki katana 1100 4 in to 1

a friend of mine has a 89 katana 1100 and he is wanting a 4 into 1 for it or something that is not stock so dose anyone on here have a 4 into 1 for a good price or something for a good price that he could use

Hrmm,

it seems to me for pre (88-97) 600's and 750's it is possible to go to a 4-1 system by purchasing the 4-1 collector and an oil-pan and gaskets for everything; all from 1998+ katanas. The oil pan is needed to provide space for the new header, I've heard people dent their collectors to make space, but I imagine that could cause issues.

All that said it's deffinatly possible, I guess you'd need to buy a header from a 98+ 1250 or 1200, 1000, the 750 header??... I'm not sure what kat models are really made after 1998..

I'm sure someone will jump in and tell you exactly what header your friend needs

Or there are a few companies that make full systems like Vance and Hines and some others.
