  • Popped chain help 88 gsx600f

So the other day I was riding and my chain popped off the rear sprocket and bundled up around the front sprocket, broke the cover and all that, bought a new cover and sprocket and chain, put it on and clutch cable doesn't engage, what am I missing??

Are you following the procedure in the manual?
Just hit me, is the clutch rod there anymore? Or busted off inside the motor?

just saw a guy on gixxer.com with a kat that a chain snapped on him now he has no clutch. The pushrod has got to be getting eaten by these chains, its so close to the sprocket. I told him the same thing too.

I would try a small magnetic pickup tool after you remove the seal.
