Today was my first ride on my Katana. I was ready to go. Let the bike down off the center stand and managed to drop the bike. So that makes two drops before the first ride. I was thinking...maybe Katana isn't for me? Maybe I made a mistake buying this bike.

I managed to get the bike upright again and headed off on a quest for a picture of a cow beside my bike. I rode around the countryside for about an hour looking for COWS. It's strange 'cause I see 'em a lot...but today couldn't seem to find any. Then a lucky break....two bulls and a cow in a field. They were curious about the bike and got as close as they could!
It didn't take long for me to feel confortable riding this "new" bike. It's very smooth and very fast and not too loud. I really like it. No mistake was made buying this Katana.

i was hoping to get a point today. When I got home and downloaded pics I saw that others had already posted cows...therefore I didn't claim a point...but I wanted to post them anyways! You guys do like katana pics, right?

All i have is cactus and sand, no cows, no old pumps, no bridges unless you count an overpass. not worth the point, fire station goes without saying, although they do want to shut some down here. some of these pics could go to a calender, nice job everyone.

That pump is from around the 60's to 70's.
