  • Hi Im new!

Hi, I just got a project, 750f gsx i think is how it is referred.
Im new to motorcycles, so Im going to be a bit green behind the gills. I have worked on cars as long as i remember but I feel its time for me to loose the training wheels.
The project was started by a buddy of mine, dont even know if she runs. Was told it runs so I trust him, mostly. Said it needed a couple of things and it will run again. Also was told that it was just completely rebuilt and gone through, and looking in the carbs and the crank case, they are both clean and appear to never seen fluids.
I dont know where to start so Im going to be asking a lot of questions, and probably going to get confused a couple times.

Ill ad some pics of what Im working with soon.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

    Welcome to katriders !

To post pics on here make sure your picture resolution on your camera
    is around 640x480.
We love pics here, the more the better. Make sure the oil is topped up
and always use fresh gas when your ready to start it if it hasen't been run in a while.. Good luck with the bike.

never seen gas would be a plus for the carbs since they wouldn't have clogged pilot jets(providing they were done properly). good luck.

Thanks! That's a mighty warm welcome!
I bet there is a sticky I need to read about how to post pics because I just tried and failed.
Wait I think I figured how to work this.

Now I was told that the motor came out of a sponcerd race team, any way I can figure that out for sure?
