  • Whats the law In Missouri or elsewhere on clear tail lights?

I have all my rear and front turn signals clear with amber bulbs.. Can i get a clear tail light with red bulbs and i will be ok?..

Dont need to get pulled over by the boys in blue..

Does it change from state to state?.. I would like to complete my clear lens look.. I mean if the lights on the front and back are always on, shouldnt the bulb being red make the clear tail light almost red anyway

    Thanks

Pull over a cop . Or maybe you could just call the courthouse and find out .

DOT changed US standards a while back to permit clear tail, turn and running light lenses, which is why you see them now stock on certain cars and on the '06 Kats. The light still has to emanate in the right color, though (red in the case of the brake & rear running light, amber for the blinkers, etc).

      Cheers

Fortunately PA doesnt seem to care to much.. I run clear bulbs w/ ca lens in the front w/ no probs...rear though does have amber bulbs.
