Default Hello and small question

Hi Everyone,

Just to say Hi, I am a post 98 Kat owner living in Wales UK and enjoying the bike.

I have one small strange question , The vacuum hose connected to my petcock has a three way connector fitted half way along it with one end empty. Is this correct or should it be a straight hose to the carbs ?? Is this an air vent system ??

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for the link, it seems whoever had the bike before me had added a t piece into the vacuum hose , which really confused me as it lets in air ... looking at the photos it seems to be a straight hose from the port on the carbs to the petcock which i have now purchased and put on . Thanks for the help ..Steve

CA model bikes have a pair system that would include a T like you describe going to a vacuum operated system bolted between the coils. It was part of an emissions system.

Do you have any pipes or hoses coming from the engine directly under the header mount points?
