  • Greetings from Namibia

I recently bought a 1988 GSX 1100F in very good all round condition, the only problem I have experienced is the mirrors, I can not see behind me, has anyone else had the same problem? if so any ideas on how to perhaps extend them to see what's going on behind you.

    Welcome to KR!
The mirrors on Kats aren't that great. I have to move around all over the place to get a clear picture if what's going on behind me.

Welcome! I usually have to shift in some way in order to see behind myself too.

I didnt know they had Kats over there. The heat must be hard on the air/oil cooled engines.

Welcome! Me too, always have to tuck my elbows in. I did see some extenders on sale, possibly on ebay UK but I'm not sure if they would fit your bike.

Welcome. That complaint is pretty common for any motorcycle.

Welcome from another 1100 owner You just have to adapt to tucking your elbows in a little when trying to see behind you
