  • 04 600 with a 98 750 swingarm and shock?

can it be done people ?

    as i have a 2004 600 katana and have a spare 1998 750 kat swingarm and rear shock ..

is it a straight swap in and out ?

would their be any benifits to doing this apart from a better rear spring ? eg does a 750 kat run a bigger stock tyre ?

swingarm is the same for all post 98 bikes, aside from some being black instead of silver. the 750 shock is better than the 600 shock due to its better adjustability, aside from that the tire size and rim width is the same for all 600 and 750 bikes post 98.

the 98+ 750 and 600 shocks are different, you have to fab a mount for the remote res. on the post 750 shock, you just have to be smarter then the shock
