Ebay listing for a GSX400S Katana, 1999 version. I think the seller is very hopeful in his asking price.... especially without a title.

This was the "throwback" model to the 1981, 1982 models for the Japanese market, I believe.

Hopeful is true Joe! Only a collector would buy it and I really don't think that is going to happen at the price he is listing. Also it's in need of plenty of TLC.

It's definitely not a "mint" example by any means...

You guys see the 82 kat on ebay listed yesterday. Thought I posted a link yesterday but I dont see it. I forgot to save it or it was removed for some protocol violation!

At the other end of the price spectrum, granted its not as popular but this was in pretty good condition. Shows where the market is at this time.

680???? Jeez. That seems quite reasonable for something that doesn't need toooo much work.

The link you posted went to a GS550T?

I posted a link to a 82 Kat the day before. It was removed.

I posted a link to the old gs that needs a tank and a starter cover yesterday. 680 is less than I've spent on cheap hookers and beer and no doubt at the other end of the ruler than 8000 bucks.

              Just saying.
