Feels Odd while turning

Okay, so I don't know exactly how it is supposed to feel while going through a curve due to the fact that this is my 1st bike but, I ride a 1991 Kat 750... she feels kinda out of control while going through curves unless i down shift or rear break... should I be getting the rear shocks looked at? I just feel like the bike is uber soft... any advice would be AWESOME!!!!

your question is kinda vague... so more info would help...

but if its just feeling too soft for you, the rear suspension is adjustable

Right, again... I don't really know what I am "supposed" to feel.. it just feels unstable while turning. I'll have to look to see what setting the rear is at. Thanks

Make sure the air pressure in your tires are correct. I can always tell if it's down a few pounds by it being a bit squirrely in the corners.

more than likely your tire pressure is low.

thats what i was thinking too... tell tale sign of low pressure
