  • Home made seat cowl

I bought my o6 kat 600 in may of this year and one of the items i liked was the seat cowl. I started a search for one with no luck so i then searched KR post and found that some members were making their own that turned out pretty sweet. I never worked with fiberglass before so i figured what the heck i'll try it, wont hurt. I would also like to thank Spud for his many tips and advise on the cowl and also to KR members for the post on the cowl. let me know what you think it's kinda crossed between a sleek and a racerback cowl.

Dang. That looks good. Looks professional. Interesting how you raised it up from the seat in the front. Makes it look more like the pre 600 without the back pad. Again, looks good.

That took me a minute. I'm guessing your refering to the way the tip flares up a bit, just like the tail of a duck.

It's a three stage paint. 1. base ground coat. 2. Mid coat. 3. Clear coat
