I also just installed silverstars and they are great. I can see alot better now, and they don't look yellow like my old ones.

Just what I want to do is ride behind a tinted headlight. Kind of strikes me as reading with a black light. Some things just don't need to look cool they have a function.

I think i will get those silverstars for my bike too i have them in my car and truck headlights and fog lights and they are nice and white. As far as the tint/mesh/shake shake stuff i would not do it if you plan on riding in the dark period

Back when I had my honda a lot of people on the forums would buy the clear lights and then paint them with model paint (tint) to get them black... AFAIK they painted the outside and lost no practically no light. Make sure you note I said 'practically no'. When I'm riding my bike I keep my high beam on constantly and want to be completely visible to others as well as being able to see as much as I can. I would not do this to a bike you plan to ride at night AT ALL. But you should be able to pick up black model tint paint (its like a transparent)/

These guys sell the film. However they don't mention anything about effects on lighting.

To be honest though if you don't ride a lot at night or if ride at night in the city and not on highways I don't see how the decrease in light would affect you that much. I have these http://www.bluhmenterprises.com/prod...category_id=14 on my silverstars and the work great as far a night time visibility and they look so cool.

It is called window perf and you should be able to get it at most sign shops. They usually use it on car windows so that they can cover the window with designs and still allow the driver to see through it like tint. They should also be able to print any color on it to match your bike. I have applied it before and it shouldn't be too hard to cover a headlight with. Hope this helps.

I have this on my light and don't like the blue hue it gives off. Just a matter of time before I tear it out.

Its also highly illegal and it's pretty hard to put on esp if it's not cut exactly. I did clear ones on my car for protection; you need a heat gun and a lot of patience =)
