    Looks awfully long...My '89 1100 key is short.

    Check out item# 282031519721 on Ebay. Mine looks like that.

        Gas tank is nasty. I was hoping to be able to just push the lock from the bottom and pop it out. No luck It doesn't smell like gas or varnish just nasty. Gas gauge still works !!

          You got some work ahead of you. Vapo-rust works great. Most auto parts stores carry it. follow with POR 15 tank sealer.

                OK been away for a bit. Still playing with the locks. No one seems to be able to cut or make a key for this lock. The only numbers on the lock are E2 on the bottom and 8120 stamped on the side. I'm also still unsure on what blank to use. Only these two fit in the lock. as you can see I drilled out the lock to look inside for numbers to. No luck.

                  Do you still have the bike? How is the work going to get it back on the road. I just went through an 88 top to bottom and it is now completed. Really enjoyed the project.
