        Looks great.
Dupli-color makes a wheel paint that holds up pretty good.

True. At the time none of the autoparts stores had white paint. They had either Gunmetal Silver or Black. So I decided to go with Dupli-Color engine enamel thinking that it would hold up to the heat of the break rotors. Bad Idea. Apparently this paint has to be heated up maybe to cure, because my pure white wheels started to look beige after about 3-4 coats. So I reprimed and shoot a couple coats of the white again.

Color Choices were courtesy of my wife. She bought my helmet 6 months before I had the bike for my birthday. I had a JOE ROCKET "Lucky" jackt in Red but sold the jacket and bought a matching Teknic. I was all mis-matched at first.lol.

VERY nice job dude. I like how you painted the mirrors too instead of leaving them black. I am going to have to do some repair and paint my bike soon as well. You have given me some inspiration.

The paint job looks AMAZING. I have seen some paint jobs that you could really tell are DIY jobs. This one however looks professionally done. I really commend your work.

I was thinking about doing something similar to my Kat (00' 600). Although I was thinking Black/Red/White or Black/Red/Silver. Do you have any tips for the painting process, or dealing with rust or frame/swingarm painting, or anything like that? I'm sorry to thread-jack but you seem to know your way around a rattle can, and that's pretty much what I'll be using since I am way too cheap to go to a paint shop and pay someone to do it.

The bike looks great especially from a rattle can. I have used rattle cans alot in the past and you can get a very professional look from them if you know how to use them right
