1999 kat tire sizies

Hi Im looking to put a larger rear tyre on my GSX600F 1999. Im wondering if a 170/60/17 will fit my rim.

Im 90% sure I have some Conti Road attacks in that size. It's close but it works. Just make sure your wheel stays true or it could possibly rub against the rear brake calliper control arm (?). I really wish I could make a new one with a little bit more of a bend in it to accommodate the larger tire.

I have run a Conti Motion 170/60-17 on my 750. it fit barely. no rubbing. it's made for 4.5" wheel. you won't use the edges at all.
