shifter shaft seal leaking

can anybody tell if its a big job to fix my shifter shaft seal, i noticed a little puddle of oil under my bike after riding for some time and then letting it sit for awhile.also i saw some drips coming from the seal, is this quick fix or is this a indepth job?

Easy job - just a bit finicky to get the old seals out. You might as well also check / replace drive shaft seal, clutch push rod seal, and the o-ring on the neutral sensor. I think the manual recommends pulling the whole cover off, but they can all be accessed externally with patience.
