extended swingarm

i've been looking around and searched here but i can't find anything on where to get an extended swingarm for my kat and what all is invloved and what else needs replacing. i like this one alot

you would need to change the rear brake line, I think the brake torque arm, that should do it. PM BraadaJim, he should be able to tell you, it's from Braada Concepts right?

idk to me it looks a little longer, either way i saw another kat today while i was riding that had an extended one and i happen to love the look.

That's because there's not a huge market (if any) for extended swingarms for Katanas.

I think you'll need to do one of two things.

Either find somewhere that can custom make one, OR find someplace that you can take, or ship your stock one to, where they can just cut, add an extension, then re-weld.

Personally speaking I do not find that astheatically pleasing. But hey, it's your bike/dollar

shorten your subframe that what i did, looks like i got an extended swing arm, but still stock and keeps your stock handling. i got a street fighter so, im not to big into the flash of things. the extended swing arm does nothing for your bike except off the line, after that everything is down hill...like handling

yeah, unless you want to 1/4 mile drag race, there is no reason at all to extend the swing arm, street ability takes a major hit.

That's because there's not a huge market (if any) for extended swingarms for Katanas.

that would be cause they are ugly as hell and useless on any bike
