In the UK -- OptiMate, esp. if you have an older bikes with maintenance-type batteries (or might in the future).
That said, I prefer the Deltran BatteryTender Waterproof 800 for the 98+ Kats -- literally drop-it-in-a-bucket-of-water waterproof (leave it outside charging away in a hurricane and don't worry about it), perfect charge rate for the 98+ stock battery, pretty much fool-proof. But the OptiMate is the better in-the-garage charger
