Default b12 revs hanging issue

long time no talk. yes im still riding around the canotuna.. with the b12! i recently moved houses and the bike sat for a solid 3 months.

the result: serious vacuum leaks at the carb to engine boots.. i had an extra set handy for the older b12 engine.. slightly different but the carbs still fit with(with some muscle) with no vacuum leaks now.. i did the original tuning i had and have hanging revs when i pull in the clutch.. if i blip the throttle at idle you can tell there is an ever so slightly slower drop of revs

if i'm moving and go to shift, pull in the clutch, revs will hang at that rpm for about 2 seconds then drop down.

the boots i have on are probably a quarter inch shorter than the stock but its all i have for now.... so my question is, what setting do you think i should adjust to get it the rpms to stop hanging? a/f out 1/4 turn?

edit: figured id ask while i revive the old 2 stroke r5. getting the carbs on is a real pita now

Hanging idle means lean. Probably have an air leak somewhere or need to sync the carbs.
